Surface high pressure to the north of the Aloha State will maintain trade winds over the islands through the end of this week. The trades will carry low clouds and showers over windward and mauka areas.

Some showers may spread leeward on the smaller islands, especially nights and mornings. Isolated showers will also be possible each afternoon along the Kona slopes on the Big Island.

Breezy trades return by Wednesday. High today in Honolulu will be 83 degrees.

Surf is small all around. Small northwest bump tomorrow, peaking well below advisory levels on Wednesday. South side surf spots will see a few small pulses this week. East side waves will be small and choppy.

Small Craft Advisory for the Alenuihaha Channel and coastal waters south and west of the Big Island.
