HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - If you want to improve the look of your wedding reception, you may want to invest in linens. REA Events and Designs owner China Anderson came into the Sunrise studio to show off some ideas on how to improve the look.
Anderson recommends that you spend more money on the head table. That's where your guests' focus will be and it will be in most of the pictures and videos. She brought in some examples of linens that she thinks would work. The rosette pattern and the sequined tablecloth are the most popular according to Anderson. Also, if you find something you would like to cover up, especially behind the wedding party's table, use drapery and a backdrop. They can be used to hide unsightly walls, ugly signs or windows.
If you don't like the chairs being used, you can always pay to bring in nicer ones. However, if that's too pricey, a chair cover-up is a less expensive option. They can be tailored to match whatever look you prefer at your venue.
Anderson and many other wedding vendors will be at the Hawaii World Class Wedding Expo this weekend at the Hawaii Convention Center. It will be April 22 and 23. For more information go to facebook.com/hawaiiworldclassweddingexpo.
