HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Stifel Financial is telling its clients that JetBlue may try to acquire Hawaiian Airlines. The facts don't support that. JetBlue has a
codeshare alliance with Hawaiian, giving it all the benefits of Hawaiian's routes without the risk.

Mokulele Airlines really is expanding to California. It won't fly between here and there, but in about four weeks it starts daily flights between L.A. and the farm town of El Centro.

Outrigger has two new directors for revenue and price. Luke Hamada will do it for the two Outrigger oceanfront properties. Jordan Joanou will handle properties back from the beach, plus the Outrigger Guam Beach Resort.

Several promotions at Finance Factors – I have time to mention two – David Kamimura becomes senior executive vice president and chief lending officer – and chief financial officer Aaron Sato – formerly with Central Pacific.

PBS Hawaii hires a new vice president of creative services. Jason Suapaia has been president of the local creative media agency 1013 Integrated. He's also a former Pacific Century Fellow.

Happening this evening at MidPac – a reception to show a 3D scan of the former interment camp at Hono-uliuli. MidPac is the only K-12 school in the world to have a working relationship with CyArk, the international 3D scanning group that scans to preserve major artifacts for posterity.
