KAILUA-KONA, HAWAII (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawaii Island police have opened arson investigations in connection with several brush fires over the weekend.
Police said all four fires were reported Sunday between 9:45 a.m. and 4:35 p.m. along Highway 190, between Kailua-Kona and Waimea.
Police believe three of them were intentionally set.
These fires are the latest in a series of suspicious brush fires in the same area since February.
