HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The breezy tradewind weather pattern will persist through most of next week. Scattered showers favoring windward neighborhoods will fall mainly in the early morning and night time hours. Rainfall totals will be light to moderate with only isolated showers for leeward sides.
Remnants of a front might settle over the islands Sunday providing the islands with some showery trades. A drier trade wind regime will return to most islands on Monday of next week.
Elevated wind swell continues to roll into east facing shores, all other beaches have declining wave energy.
