HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A fundraising event will be held in support of Cyclone Winston victims in Fiji on Saturday, April 23.
As part of an initiative called 'Aloha Appeal for Fiji,' the public is invited to attend an Island Night at the Pagoda Hotel International Ballroom on the first floor to help raise money to help the victims of Cyclone Winston in Fiji.
The event will feature dances from Fijians and other Pacific Island groups, bands, singers, DJ music and surprise performances. Pupus and kava will also be served.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for student (w/ID).
Funds raised will be sent to the Fiji Red Cross Society's Cyclone Winston relief efforts.

Cyclone Winston was a Category 5 cyclone that ripped through Fiji on February 19 and 20. It was the strongest cyclone ever recorded in the Southern Hemisphere, killing 44 and leaving thousands homeless.
