Brains and brawn needed for Hospice Hawaii's fundraiser

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hospice Hawaii is about to host its 7th annual Hot Pursuit fundraiser. All the money raised will support programs and services for patients and their families during a difficult time of transition. That includes their yearly family bereavement camp, grief workshops and counseling. For more information on their programs, click here.

The event itself is inviting teams of 2 to 6 people to join in the event. Each team needs to raise a minimum of $250. Then they'll face a series of challenges throughout Kakaako that should test your brain and brawn. It's like a mini "Amazing Race".  You can register right up to the race day online at or by calling (808) 924-9255.

There will also be plenty to do even if you don't race. There will be live music, face painting and a "Kidz Zone" that will feature games for the keiki.

The event is on April 30, 2016 at 9:45 am at the Waterfront Plaza.
