HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Not even the heavy rains of Northern California could cool down the streaking Rainbow Warriors.

A day after bad weather postponed Hawaii's second game against U.C. Davis on Saturday, U.H. finished off a series sweep against the Aggies in a Sunday doubleheader that propelled them to the top of the Big West conference standings.

'Bows pitcher Kyle von Ruden tossed a complete game shutout to open the day's action, striking out three and allowing just three hits in a 5-0 win for Hawaii.

In the second game, outfielder Marcus Doi batted in four runs on two hits for the 'Bows en route to a 7-2 win.

Hawaii is now 16-15 overall, with a 5-1 mark in the Big West Conference. The 'Bows have won 10 of their last 14 games.

U.H. returns home for a series with Cal Poly beginning on Friday.
