The Honolulu Fire Department responded to a report of a missing swimming in West Oahu, Monday evening.
A woman who died while snorkeling off Paradise Cove beach in Ko Olina has been identified as 72-year-old Karen Kitchener of Kapolei.
The medical examiner has ruled drowning as the cause of death.
Kitchener was snorkeling with her husband when he reported her missing just before 6 p.m. Monday night.
