HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A weak cold front is passing through the state, and will drop light to moderate amounts of rain over windward neighborhoods through Wednesday.
Behind the front, gusty northeasterly winds will pick up later tonight and hold through Thursday, slowing Friday.
A Small Craft Advisory has been issued for all waters, with the exception of the leeward Big Island and south Big Island waters.
Surf is expected to remain below advisory levels through the remainder of the week. There may be some rough conditions along the exposed north and east facing shores because of the winds associated with the cold front. A decent sized north north west swell is due Wednesday, but conditions will be choppy.
