Blaze causes $150K in damage to Kalihi home

KALIHI (HawaiiNewsNow) - The American Red Cross is assisting the victims of a house fire in Kalihi on Thursday.

The first started about 11:53 a.m. at 1760 Gulick Ave. About 39 firefighters responded to the blaze at the one-story home.

The fire was under control at 12:02 p.m., and extinguished 45 minutes later.

Damage from the flames is estimated at $150,000.

No one was injured in the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
