A weak front will dissipate near the Big Island today. Weak high pressure will build over the islands today and remain through Thursday, with light winds and dry weather prevailing.
The high will lift to the north and strengthen Friday through the weekend, allowing moderate trade winds to return across the islands, with generally dry weather continuing.
A large northwest swell continues to spread down the island chain this morning.
HIGH SURF WARNING until 6 p.m. for north and west facing shores of Kauai, Niihau, Oahu, and Molokai as well as north facing shores of Maui.
High Surf Advisory until 6 pm for Kona.
HIGH WIND WARNING until noon today for Big Island summits.
Small Craft Advisory until 6 a.m. Thursday for most Hawaii waters.
