The light winds will persist through the weekend, which means more haze, vog and higher humidity levels.
Spotty showers are expected in the afternoon and early evenings. A new upper level disturbance is due over the state Friday, and Friday evening will bring another chance of enhanced rainfall as well as thunderstorms.
No marine warnings or advisories are in effect or anticipated for the rest of the week.
A northwest swell is expected to arrive Saturday, bringing below advisory surf along north and west facing shores for most of the smaller islands.
Latest wave watch model is still suggesting a very large northwest swell coming in Tuesday night and may bring warning level surf along north and west facing shores for most of the smaller islands. A small background swell from the south will persist throughout the forecast period.
