HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A 20-year-old man accused in a rollover crash that killed an 18-year-old woman was sentenced on Wednesday to 10 years in prison.
Authorities said Devon Keser was under the influence of alcohol on Aug. 15, 2015 when he lost control of a Jeep Wrangler and struck a guardrail on the H-1 Freeway. Keser and three passengers were ejected.
Kortney Biton-Schubert, 18, was pronounced dead at the scene and another passenger was taken to a hospital in critical condition with an open skull fracture.
Keser pleaded no contest to charges of negligent injury and negligent homicide.
