HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Breezy tradewinds will persist through the weekend. Expect great air quality and comfortable humidity levels.

But another approaching front early next week will bring a wind shift that might bring in a few showers, some heavy, along with vog and haze.

Meanwhile, a High Surf Warning has been posted for most north-facing shores until Saturday night. A large north swell is now picking up with dangerous wave heights.

Surf along north facing shores will be 20 to 25 feet Saturday.

Surf along west facing shores will be 5 to 7 feet Saturday.

Surf along east facing shores will be 5 to 7 feet and choppy. Beaches exposed to a north swell will have significantly higher waves.

Surf along south facing shores will be 2-4 feet.

Also, a Small Craft Advisory is in effect for all coastal and channel waters.
