HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police have reopened three lanes on Beretania Street at Punahou Street after a tree knocked over a pole about 6 a.m. Friday.

The tree, pole and wires are still blocking a portion of the roadway.

The Hawaiian Electric Company said the incident initially caused a power outage for about 800 customers, but most customers were switched to a backup circuit, so there are currently 30 customers without power.
