HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

A Chinatown seaood retailer has been fined $2,000 for selling undersized Ahi, known as Shibi.

A DLNR officer found that four of the fish being sold at Marivic Fresh Seafoods & Meat at the Chinatown Marketplace in November were under the 3-pound weight minimum.

This was the company second violation in the past year.

Last June, Alfonso Chua was fined $150 for selling undersized Kona crab.
