HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The University of Hawai'i Rainbow Warrior baseball team lost both games of a doubleheader with No. 19 Michigan on Saturday as the Wolverines claimed the series sweep over the 'Bows.
William Tribucher (1-0) earned the win for the Wolverines in game one, allowing one run on two hits while striking out two and walking two others. Michigan claimed the 9-4 victory, with Alex Hatch (1-2) taking the loss for the 'Bows.
Hawaii senior Lawrence Chew took the mound for the Rainbow Warriors in the second game, taking a loss in his first start of the season as the Wolverines won 5-3.
The Rainbow Warriors will return next week to Les Murakami Stadium for a four-game set with Western Athletic Conference foe Chicago State, March 17-20, as the 'Bows roll into the mid-point of a month-long homestand.
