HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Twelve months after being upset by Cal State Northridge in the 2015 Big West Conference championship game, the Rainbow Wahine basketball team is a win away from making amends and advancing to the NCAA tournament.

Marissa Wimbley led all Hawaii scorers with 18 points. Destiny King scored 8 points in 30 minutes, but added 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals.
The 'Bows outrebounded The Beach 41-17.
