HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Winds of 15-25 mph with stronger gusts will persist tonight and slow slightly Friday down to 15-20 mph.
Breezy conditions will stick around through the weekend. Rainfall will be minimal with just a few light windward showers. Leeward sides will get abundant sunshine although temperatures will be cooler than average..
The Wind Advisory has been expanded to all islands. Winds on the Big Island may be a bit stronger especially in Kona, Kohala and North Ka'u.
A Gale Warning has been issued for Maalaea Bay, Pailolo and Alenuihaha Channels, and coastal waters west and south of the Big Island.
And there's a Small Craft Advisory in effect all other Hawaii waters.
Wave heights will drop Friday islandwide, another solid advisory level swell is due Sunday.
