Light winds and hazy conditions are expected for Monday. It might be a little muggy as well. Relief will come in the form of a cold front that will reach Kauai early Tuesday and then sweep down the island chain, bringing some welcome showers. Winds will veer to the west and increase as the front passes, with strong north winds behind the front.

High Surf Advisory remains posted for the north and west shores of the smaller islands until 6 a.m. Monday. Surf will drop below advisory levels by Monday morning. A south shore swell is expected to rise Monday, with head-high sets late in the day.
