HALEIWA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Someone has set fire to the toilets at a popular North Shore beach park yet again. -- the second time in only two weeks.

The first incident occurred on February 22, when an arsonist destroyed four portable toilets at Kaiaka Bay Beach Park in Haleiwa. Two weeks later, and only days after replacement portable toilets were installed, an arsonist struck again.

The park's permanent comfort station has been out of order since 2014 when it too was destroyed by an arsonist. Work to rebuild the bathroom is scheduled to begin soon and is expected to cost $480,000.

No suspects have been arrested. City officials are asking anyone with information to call police.
