HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Light to moderate northerly winds today, then variable winds for the rest of the work week and beyond. Very few showers showing up on radar, but skies are a bit cloudy.

High today in Honolulu will be 81 degrees.

The dangerously large waves along north and west shores will slowly decline today. The NWS forecast calls for end of day sizes to be 20-25 feet north, 12-18 west, 4-7 feet east, 1-3 feet south.

High Surf Warning north and west shores of Niihau, Kauai, Oahu, Molokai; north shores of Maui.

High Surf Advisory north and west shores of Hawaii Island.

Small Craft Advisory for all coastal and channel waters except Maalaea Bay.

Wind Advisory for Big Island summits above 8,000 feet.

Box Jellyfish expected along south shores. Check with lifeguards.
