HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawaiian Electric has filed an update on its plans for the future which still contains something you might have thought had been taken off the table – an undersea power line between Oahu and Maui. The filing appears to communicate an interest in further study, not determination to build one.
Duane Shimogawa of Pacific Business News reports the Airport Center, an office building on Ualena Street, will be auctioned off next month with a starting bid of $3.5 million.
