The PUC approves a commercial-grade solar power farm in Lahaina. The operator is called Kuia Solar and the project will go up near Lahainaluna school. Regulators also approved a similar-sized project, a little under 2.9 megawatts, close to the Maui Research and Technology Park in back of Kihei.

The Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii announces the 2016 Healthcare Summit, to be held March 31st, that's a Thursday, at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki. Kaiser national CEO Bernard Tyson will keynote.

Happening today – the SBA has a workshop on how small businesses can identify funding sources. It's 9 a.m. at For'Ewa Pono, 1001 Kamokila Boulevard in Kapolei. The Kapolei-Makakilo Neighborhood Board meets tonight at Kapolei High School.

The Office of Mauna Kea Management hires a cultural resource program manager. Lukela Ruddle is a 14-year veteran of OHA. She says she looks forward to developing culturally appropriate procedures and protocols in concert with lineal descendants and persons with historical ties to the mountain.
