HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu police and firefighters responded to a building fire Wednesday morning on North Nimitz Highway and Kekaulike Street.
Firefighters were initially dispatched to the two-alarm fire at a one-story concrete unit just before 6 a.m. Firefighters managed to get the flames, which also spread to a nearby vehicle, under control within 15 minutes and fully extinguished before 6:30 a.m.
HFD Capt. David Jenkins said a 63-year-old man suffered burn injuries to his arm.
The fire department and police are investigating the incident. Damage estimates are not yet available.
