HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Breezy tradewinds will persist for Aloha Friday then slow Saturday as an approaching front nears the state. Rainfall will be limited to some light windward showers, leeward sides will only get a few isolated showers.

The wind swell along east shores is slightly smaller today. The NWS says 5-8 feet east, 4-8 feet north, 2-4 feet west, and 1-2 feet south. Two new swells in the next week will be in the warning category. One arrives late Sunday night and the other late Wednesday.

A High Surf Advisory is in effect for most east shores.

A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for all Hawaii waters.
