Recording artist makes first Hawaii appearance to celebrate Black History Month

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Making her first appearance in Hawaii to celebrate Black History month is multi-award winning musician Martha Redbone.

She is an awesome Indigenous Music Recording Artist which combines the music from many traditions; African American, Cherokee, Choctaw, English folk music and more.

She is performing Thursday night at the Honolulu Museum of Art Doris Duke Theatre with her husband Aaron Whitby accompanying her on piano.
