All eastbound lanes of H-1 in Aiea reopened following crash

Honolulu police have reopened all eastbound lanes of the H-1 Freeway.

A single-vehicle accident has forced police to close several eastbound lanes of the H-1 Freeway in Aiea on Tuesday morning, according to the Honolulu Police Department.

Police said a vehicle hit the center median near the Kaonohi Street overpass around 5 a.m. Emergency Medical Services is en route, but it's not known the extent of any injuries. 

Traffic cameras are showing a major backlog through Aiea with the Great Aloha Run expected to start at 7 a.m.
