Dry and stable weather conditions are in the forecast for your Valentine's Day, with light to moderate easterly trade winds for the Big Island and Maui, and gentle east-southeast winds with afternoon sea breezes elsewhere.

Not much rain is in the short-term holiday weekend forecast, but that will change as clouds from a frontal boundary are pushed over the islands Monday night through Wednesday by increasing northeast winds.

High Surf Advisory is in effect for an increasing west-northwest swell, with north shore waves rising by afternoon to the 14-18 foot range. A Small Craft Advisory is also in effect for most Hawaiian waters.
