HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawaii-born Zoë Martin-Doike returns home with her up-and-coming chamber music group Aizuri Quartet to perform for the Honolulu Chamber Music Series first Emerging Artists Concert.
The Aizuri Quartet won third prize at the 2015 Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition in London for their performance of late Beethoven quartets. They are currently the quartet in residence at the Curtis Institute of Music. Their concerts reflect the sharing of artistic traditions between Europe and Asia.
The Aizuri Quartet will perform at Orvis Auditorium at the University of Hawaii at Manoa on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. with a pre-concert talk with the musicians at 6:30 p.m.
