HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Another cool, calm morning, but record lows are unlikely.
Winds are light and variable. Sea breezes will develop this afternoon and a few clouds could pop up over interior neighborhoods. Showers are not expected due to a rather stable and dry atmosphere.
The high in Honolulu today will be a pleasant 79 degrees. A slow warming trend over the next couple days with trade winds reappearing on Thursday.
Dangerously large waves will start rolling in to north and west shores tonight and be even larger tomorrow. In anticipation, the National Weather Service has issued a High Surf Warning for north and west shores. Waves tomorrow will be 40 to 50 feet for north shores and 25 to 35 feet for west shores.
