Rainbow Warriors continue to climb

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - This season the UH Men's Volleyball team has only lost two matches. One of those loses came at the hands of UCLA this past Saturday. Today, however, the Bows find themselves once again moving up a spot in the AVCA poll.

Hawaii split this weekend's series against an undefeated and top ranked Bruin's squad, winning their first match before losing in a five set thriller on Saturday night.

Hawaii now trails only Long Beach State, the Bruins and BYU, earning the 4th spot in this week's poll. That's their highest rank all season, a fact that's hardly impressive Head Coach, Charlie Wade.

"I know we got the tie breaker in the league if it comes down to that point and I think it's really early. The poll means more to you guys than it does to me at this point. We got, you know another league win and I'm proud of our guys and just go on the road and hope we can get a few more." said Wade.

The bows will hit the road for the two weeks. They take on the Cardinal in Stanford. And then USC in LA.
