HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Cool temperatures and steady northeasterly trade winds will persist through Tuesday with mostly dry conditions. The winds will slowly shift to the east, which will help to warm up the state. Calm conditions will hold for the rest of the week.
A solid northwest swell is on the decline, but a huge swell is due Wednesday and Thursday with extreme wave heights. The swell is forecast to be big enough with the right timing to run the EDDIE so the contest is a go for Wednesday.
