HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Get ready for a good show! Hawaii's own Bruno Mars confirmed today that he's once again performing on the nation's biggest stage -- the Super Bowl.
Bruno Mars will join headliner, Coldplay, along with Beyonce for the halftime show as the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos face-off to become champions of the 50th Super Bowl.
The Roosevelt High graduate announced the big news with two posts on Instagram Friday showing him inside Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
This is the second time in only two years that Bruno has scored the coveted halftime slot. He first performed as the lead act during Super Bowl XLVIII when the Seattle Seahawks beat the Broncos 43-8. That halftime show was the NFL's most-watched ever, with 115 million viewers.
Super Bowl 50 airs Feb. 7 on KGMB.
