Starting at 10 p.m. through 3 a.m. intermittent traffic control will be conducted in the mauka-bound travel lane of Kalakaua Avenue, even though most businesses in the area are closed. Drivers will be asked to wait for a few minutes while a complicated shot for a visual effect is done, then traffic will be released in the one mauka-bound lane and allowed to flow until the next shot is set up.
