HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A 65-year-old man charged in the murder of his wife at their Salt Lake home is back in police custody, according to the Honolulu Police Department.
Police re-arrested Isagani Fajotina around 9:05 a.m. Monday at the Queen's Medical Center, where he was being treated for self-inflicted stab wounds.
Last week, a grand jury indicted Fajotina for second-degree murder and second-degree attempted murder. He's accused of stabbing and killing his 65-year-old wife, Melita, at their home on Wanaka Street. He's also accused of attacking his sister-in-law, who reportedly suffered a minor cut on her neck.
Fajotina's bail is set at $1 million. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
