HALAWA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) - It was a sold-out crowd at the 2016 Pro Bowl and it showed on the roads with bumper-to-bumper traffic that lasted for hours. The Aiea off-ramp from the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction was closed off as well.

The Aloha Stadium parking lot quickly filled up to full capacity, forcing drivers who weren't lucky enough to get a parking at the stadium to park elsewhere. Motorists were advised to park at Leeward Community College and Ford Island.

Free shuttle service was provided to and from LCC. Parking at LCC and Ford Island was also free of charge.

Gate 2 was closed off to the public except for those holding a parking pass.
