HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Another day of light winds and hazy skies. Trade winds are expected to return sometime this weekend, hopefully on Saturday.

Your Aloha Friday will be clear, dry and fairly cool in the morning. It will be warm, muggy and voggy in the afternoon.

The high in Honolulu will be 82 degrees.

Waves are dropping today. The next swell expected late Sunday will be advisory-, not warning-sized. The National Weather Service says surf today will be 14 to 18 feet for north shores, 8 to 12 feet for west shores, 2 to 4 feet for east shores, and 1 to 3 feet for south shores.

A High Surf Advisory is in effect for north and west shores of Niihau, Kauai, Oahu, and Molokai as well as north shores of Maui

A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for all windward coastal waters and the Kaiwi Channel.
