HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Travelers are panning food and beverage options at Honolulu International Airport.

The airport’s dining choices were rated the worst among the nation’s 250 busiest airports, according to airport rating app AirportXP.

Just 45 percent of travelers said they were satisfied with the dining options at Honolulu airport. Reagan National came in second from the bottom, at 50 percent.

Tampa International was the top-rated airport, with 76 percent of travelers satisfied with the food and beverage options.

Salt Lake City International came in second, with 75 percent.

“Our research tells us that airport officials need to be paying careful attention to the variety of food and beverage options, availability of food and beverage concessions post-security and the condition and cleanliness of food areas,” said Scott Ludwigsen, executive vice president of Phoenix Market International Travel Research Group, in a news release.
