Nearly 300 keiki ages two to 14 lined the shores of the Punaluu Black Sand Beach in Kau to take part in O Kau Kakou’s 8th Annual Keiki Fishing Tournament.
Keiki competed in four different fish categories – aholehole, hinalea, kupipi, poopaa. The winner of each category was determined by the size of the fish caught.
The winner in a fifth category, “Most Caught,” reeled in 30 fish!
