HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The best high school football team in Hawaii is headed out on the road to take on one of the best in the entire country.

Kahuku head football coach Vavae Tatae says the Red Raiders have scheduled a game this fall against Bishop Gorman, the defending Nevada state champions and fourth-best team in the nation, according to scouting service MaxPreps.

The game will be played at 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016, Tata tells Hawaii News Now.

At least one Bishop Gorman player will be familiar with the Red Raider team; the Gaels will feature soon-to-be junior offensive lineman Jacob Isaia, who transfered from Iolani to Bishop Gorman this spring.
