Forecast: Light winds and clear skies for our Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

A ridge of high pressure will remain over the islands, giving us very dry and stable conditions for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday. Winds will be light with afternoon sea breezes, with clear nights and mornings and some afternoon cloud buildups and perhaps a slight chance of isolated inland showers. Things won't change until late Tuesday as a weak cold front approaches the state.

Surf is declining, but a High Surf Advisory will remain posted for most north and west shores through the daytime Monday. Another warning level swell is forecast to peak Wednesday, but it doesn't look like it's going to be as big as the last one.
