This Monday, January 18, 2016 the Poi Dogs & Popoki (PDP), Kahuku Medical Center, and Na pua Makani Wind Energy are hosting a spay or neuter clinic at the Kahuku Medical Center in the Big Fix neuter vehicle.

Pet cats are $5 (regularly $50) and feral or community cats are free (regularly $25).

Residents are encouraged to embrace Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) which is the only long-term humane and compassionate strategy for managing feral cat populations.

PDP is a local nonprofit animal welfare helping the well being of pets. PDP also manages the City’s Neuter Now Program.

The demand in the area is so great that the clinic was oversubscribed only three days after it was announced.
