HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

A HIGH SURF WARNING has been extended for most north and west shores, along with a HIGH SURF ADVISORY for west shores of the Big Island, until 6 a.m. Sunday The waves are gradually declining, but North Shore surf could remain as high as 20 to 30 feet overnight.

A ridge of high pressure will remain over the state for the next few days, bringing very dry and stable conditions. This also means that winds will be light, so we'll have a pattern of morning sunshine, then afternoon clouds and isolated showers, followed by overnight clearing. This pattern will likely hold through Tuesday, with a cold front bringing scattered showers as soon as Tuesday night for Kauai and Oahu.
