Police searching for man who robbed Downtown Honolulu bank

The Honolulu Police Department is asking for the public's help to find a man who robbed a Honolulu bank on Tuesday.

Police say the man walked into the Downtown Branch of the First Hawaiian Bank on Bishop Street and approached a teller. He handed her a demand note and said he had a weapon. Surveillance video shows the teller taking cash out of a drawer to give to the suspect. He then ran away.

Police provided the following description of the suspect:

Race: Caucasian
Age: 40s
Height: 5’7”
Weight: 240 lbs.
Eyes: Brown
Clothing: Aloha print shirt, blue denim shorts, black cap, black backpack
