Serious crash snarls H1 westbound traffic

MAKAKILO, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

The afternoon commute was brought to a standstill Monday, after a multiple car crash on the H-1 freeway westbound near the Makakilo offramp.

Police closed three right lanes as they cleared the crash.

According to initial reports from emergency responders, two people were injured in the crash, which occurred around 2:40 p.m.

A 20-year-old man and an 11-year-old girl are each hospitalized in serious condition. Emergency crews say the victims were in separate vehicles.

    The new accusation came just a few hours after negotiators had reached an agreement to hold a public hearing Thursday for Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford, who accuses him of sexually assaulting her at a party when they were teenagers.
