KAPOLEI, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Two people were arrested after allegedly shooting at another vehicle in Kapolei on Friday, Honolulu police said.

The incident happened about 6 p.m.

Police arrested 21-year-old Kahamaiokumoae Ahsing and 19-year-old Kiani Hayghe for first-degree attempted murder, but the two were later charged with first-degree terroristic threatening. Ahsing was also charged with first-degree reckless endangering.

The suspects are both Ewa residents.

Sources said Hayghe was driving a car while Ahsing fired several shots at a moving vehicle with two passengers, both 18, inside.

Police reports say the incident “placed the complainants in danger of death or serious bodily injury.”

The case is currently under investigation.
