Small business hit twice by burglars in two months

PEARL CITY, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -

Mobile Gamer Guys has been crippled by vandals who damaged the company's only two buses.

The Pearl City business is a mobile arcade, bringing X-Boxes, PlayStations and other gaming devices in buses to birthday parties and other events.

On Wednesday night, glass was shattered on both vehicles while they were being stored at Extra Space Storage off Kaahumanu Street.

Nothing was taken but owner, Kalani Miller believes the thief was just preparing to return.

"I was worried that they might come back and steal the whole truck, and take everything that we worked so hard for," says owner Kalani Miller. "Blood, sweat and tears built this bus out of our garage eight years ago."

The company was also hit back in November at the storage facility when the generators that operate the electronics were taken.

Honolulu police did arrest a man for stealing a vehicle from a different company on the property Wednesday night and investigators are working to see if he's responsible for vandalizing the Mobile Gamer Guys buses, too.
