Passengers arrive in Kahalui Airport on Maui got an incredible welcome yesterday. That's Uncle Willie K with Roger Glenn with The Warehouse Blues Band rockin' Kahului Airport in Maui. They were welcome visiting BluesFest artists to the Aloha State! Willie's caption on Facebook read "We closed out the airport tonight with the great Roger Glenn sitting in for a few tunes. See you at the Uncle Willie K's BBQ Blues Fest this weekend!!" It's tonight and tomorrow at the King Kamehameha Golf Club.
The Rough Riders are also on Maui for a concert tonight at the MACC. Henry posted this photo of him and Brother Noland with some fans. The caption read "Seabury Hall photo bombers. Had a goodtime. What a day. Lunch at Polli then to Aloha House."
The Legendary Jazz Club - Blue Note Hawaii is the new hotspot in Waikiki to catch world class entertainment. It's used to be the Society of Seven Showroom at the Outrigger Waikiki Hotel. Coming up next is Jazz icon Kenny G with two shows per day January 14-17. Kenny G has released his 14th studio album "Brazilian Nights"; of course his biggest seller was "Breathless" in 1992. It will also serve as the official grand opening for Blue Note Hawaii.
The Super Bowl is getting a little more super. Beyonce is expected to join Coldplay and their lead singer Chris Martin onstage during halftime. She'll likely joining Coldplay for Hymn for the Weekend, considering she's featured on that track from the band's latest album.
Magic! is a Canadian Reggae fusion band and they're headed for Kauai. That's their hit song "Rude." The group is making their first performance on the Garden Island at the Pacific Missile Range Facility, put on by Armed Forces Entertainment. That's January 17 from 6:30-7:30pm.
If Adele's music speaks to our souls; then her Instagram picture is speaking to our New Year's Resolutions! The British Grammy winner posted this shot she took from the gym captioned "getting ready." It's a comical photo of herself looking like she's in agony while pulling a cord in a machine during her workout.
